Wrong, Hopkins boxed alot as a teenager and had over 90 amateur fights, as well as his prison boxing experience. This whole thing about Bhop being a late starter is simply not true.

Sergio Martinez started late, something around 20/21 being the first time he walked into a gym. Plenty of people have started late and did well, but most of the reason late starters don't succeed is because they get discouraged easily and quit. It takes time in the gym, years and years to develop the necessary skills to compete at the world level, that is time not alot of people are willing to spend through their 20s on a dream that nobody believes in. Most people want to be partying, going out to clubs, chasing girls during their 20s, not slaving away in a sweaty gym and walking around all lumped up.

Warren will do fine, he has the fundamentals, he is in condition, and he has some notoriety.
