Corrales was undefeated, so that right there was better. Although Corrales was never really an elite fighter imo, but he was favored to beat floyd at the time (bhop was favored to beat Stinky).

Really it's not worth even bringing up though. It's just a win for bhop post 40 years of age. A decent win but not great.

In this video which was uploaded in December of 06 meaning before Winky fought Quartey and likely made after June when Winky fought Taylor. Steve Kim essentially says what I have been saying their was a clear top 3 at the time.

his best weight and performances were at 154. that's where he's ranked, and that's what's considered his prime.

he began to make a marked decline in '05 against sam soliman. he was not even in his prime against taylor, how can he be prime against hopkins?

i have not seen his fight with trinidad in quite some time, but it's hard to say that a man is looking faded in a masterclass. trinidad was quite faded himself at that stage, but winky had him looking lost.

look at his speed and footwork in the Glen Johnson fight with him at thirty two and compare it to how he looks versus Tito

That is a load of crap. No one was saying that at the time when he fought Taylor and beat Quartey

The whole reason why Winky never moved up to 160 is because Bernard was there. Aint it funny that when Bernard beat the crap outta Tito and became a king in boxing Winky never called him out or tried to move into the division.

                    yes they were..
shot? no. at his peak? no.
you thought he looked good against soliman?

i mostly thought he took him lightly at the time.

he certainly wasnt in his prime agaist ike quartey

and the taylor fight brought the best out of him, but it was not on the level that he was able to produce at his best.

i'm sorry man. i like you, but you're wrong. you're overrating hopkins win over wright.

there's always the possibility that you're a full on troll, as has long been suspected in the history section.

your history section prime was 2010, no doubt. it caught up with you. too many wars over chavez - whitaker and the like.

Man he changed his style because he was older and couldnt fight with that constant pressure and intensity anymore. Bernard was past his physical prime as a man when he fought Tito.
