Hopkins lost to Taylor, Dawson, and Calzaghe when he was well past 40. If Floyd fights guys of that quality when he is well past 40 he will lose also. He ducked nobody at 160 over ten years and 20 defenses so you say there were all nothng special? You should get real. Being undefeated is not nearly as important as what a fighter did. Robinson lost 19 times and look at the respect he gets. Shame on you for not letting other posters pick Hopkins. They are both great.
who's higher on your ATG list? Mayweather or Hopkins

Not even a debate, Floyd is the greastest fighter of his generation, top 5 most gifted fighters ever and already to 25-15 ATG.Comment

Obviously 170 isn't Winky's prime weight.Last edited by SCtrojansbaby; 08-04-2012, 11:00 AM.Comment

No surprise the poll is almost dead even. I think an effective argument can be made for either man, but I gave the nod to Floyd. And Mayweather might very well retire undefeated. Like it or not, that'll add an aura of invincibility that fans will argue about forever.Comment

This question is a joke, and shame on whoever is picking bhop.
Hopkins lost to Taylor twice, lost to Dawson, lost to Calzage
Floyd is undefeated and champion in 5 weight classes...
Hopkins signature win is vs a bloated Oscar and tito, a weight drained tarver and pascal..
Who did he beat in his 20 fight middle weight run? Joppy and Eastman were his biggest name? Get real
Being undefeated means nothing I see..
I actually think Hopkins beat Taylor twice, and beat Calzhage. Did you even watch those fights?Comment
