Thing is: Are his habits too strong? Will Khan learn or is his ego too much tied up in what he already knows and what he has already accomplished?

If AK can truly go back to the drawing board, we'll probably piss and moan about the result, but he'll stay in the big leagues longer.
I just feel like in a firefight, Amir is going to stand and trade because that's how he is built as a fighter. And that's when he gets caught. Steward did calm down Klitschko who never gives any opponent an opening to counter him anymore. He could do the same with Khan, but Khan gets excited easily in the heat of battle.

this guy doesn't learn anything-not even how to behave, he doesn't have a trainer problem he has no punch resistance problem--he could fight a good fight, but when he gets caught cleanly he gets ktfo.

Steward makes his boxers boring, people enjoy Khans matches because of his unpredictability, so not sure if this is a good thing for us viewers.

However for Khan it will be a good move, Steward prides himself on the basics of boxing, jab, tight defense, timing and lots and LOTS of CLINCHING, something Khan doesnt have in his game.

I think Khan has reached the end of the road with Roach

Khan is such a loud mouth prick.

When we was on top it was all about Freddie Roach. What a great trainer. What a great relationship.

When he lost to Peterson he lucked out with the steroid excuse and didn't have to blame his own people for his personal failure.

Now with the KO to Garcia Khan quickly resorts to making the loss about Roach's failure as a trainer and how he is poorly suited to Amir's skills.

I am not a huge fan of Roach as a trainer, but he is better at his profession than Amir will ever be at his. If Khan goes to Steward he will simply be a more boring fighter who stills gets KTFO by anyone halfway decent.

Knowing Khan, he'll probably go for anybody in the top 5.

Anyway, I hope he does switch trainers but what's the point of switching trainers if you're not gonna listen during training camp and sparring sessions? He didn't listen to Tabares during the sparring sessions and it played out the exact same way in the fight. I don't think he should've fired Tabares either. It looked like he had done a good job with Khan.

Khan forgot to mention about chin. No trainer in the world can fix that.

That is what having an over-rated trainer will do for, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

Khan needs to hire Floyd Sr. He's a defensive wiz.

whether roach sucks or not, he told khan to go out and box. Being a tool khan decided to stand in the middle of the ring with no guard or head movement and got ktfo. Roach was not the problem in this case...
