    I'm picking Ward.

But if Dawson is healthy at 168 then it's going to be a hard fight.

I would have felt much better if the fight was in neutral territory and at a catchweight. Its mindboggling that Dawson left everything on the negotiating table. Hopefully he gets paid because there's no way he'll win.
wow.. batt i thought better of you than this, you really gonna blatantly lie to discredit ward? thats low.

chad never walks around over 180. he also comes down all the way to 175 in camp and doesnt really cut any weight, i guess he might be a pound or two over the limit on fight night but nowhere near 185, dawson might never have weighed 185 in his life.

dawson didnt give anythign up in negotiations, he wants to win a title in a second division and he knows he can make the weight easily. he chose to come down not bcuz he had to but bcuz he wanted to and for good reason, he has a very good chance of winning.

Agree, but i think it comes down to mental strength and favor Ward there.

Didn't he come to the ring at 190 against Hopkins?

I don't know that one, but it was 184 for Adamek and 186 for Johnson II if I remember correctly. That assassin guy owes an apology.

              I agree.

I favour Ward there aswell and that's where I see him winning.

I'm going off memory so I may be wrong.

it's good to be the king.

floyd's the top dog because he's been the top dog. he's earned his spot, and until he loses, drops off completely, or retires, it's going to be hard to drop him from his top spot. he's looking older, but he doesnt yet look old, if that makes any sense at all.

the recent runs, however, are not close. ward has fought the best guys of a solid SMW era. he's about to fight the best LHW on the planet.
and a prime andre ward may indeed be a better fighter than aging mayweather. time, and this next fight, will tell us that. i cannot wait. if ward does everything right and beats dawson decisively he's got to at least be considered for the top spot p4p.

floyd looked a lot more like a human being than i'm used to seeing against cotto. some credit goes to cotto, but some of that is clearly the product of floyd's age.

43 fights. 315 rounds. some layoffs. two months in jail. 35 years old.
20 title fights, with some legit championships thrown in there. even if you dont get hit a lot, you gotta figure that's catching up with him.

Close fight imo,I would pick Dawson because he has the skill set to beat Ward..But not the mentality..I think Dawson will fight right into Wards hands at the end of the day...Trying to be tough and get beat up inside..Should be a good one tho...
