Thats why I've always said. If you make a top 10 heavyweight list of all time based on accomplishments then Joe Louis is no doubt the greatest. And the greatest of his era do doubt. But honestly I dont think Louis would have been good in todays heavyweights because he was so darn small and other heavyweights were 180-190 ish. If you make a list on best heavyweights based on who could really beat eachother then I think it would be the klitschkos and lennox lewis on top.
Ali would have beaten Lewis and Vitali without too much trouble, just a bad bad style match up.

Lewis did not go "Life and death" with Holyfield like you suggested he clearly and decisively beat him in the first fight the second fight was closer than it should have been because Lewis was looking for the K.O due to the fact that he didn't want to get robbed again.

        Lewis>>>>>Holyfield>>>>>Tyson.

Tuna is a naturally bigger man than Haye he was also more dangerous and had an iron chin. Lewis would have K.Oed Haye without much trouble at all.

haye is not too small for the klits if he was good enough he could beat them - a good big man beats a good small one but a GREAT small one beats a good big one ... blah blah blah about the klits being great big men etc ... there is great and then there is GREAT ...

watch Ali vs Doug Jones. Ali had trouble with C+ average fighters. Yes he was faster but speed is only 1 factor of many in a fight. Lewis and Klitschos are too ****ing big for Ali Frazier ect. Its not that I dont respect those fighters of those days but no way they beat the big men of today. Ali in his prime was 210. The Klitschkos are 240-250ish and are 3-4 inches taller than ali. Too big, too strong

Adamek is world class, he just can't fuck with the Klits
other than that, the HW's might be decent, but not world class
only seen like 1 fight apiece from Boytsov and Pulev
not sure how good they really are yet
Helenius has gotten some attention, but not too impressed by him

                  Lewis>>>>>Holyfield>>>>>Tyson.
It was a good fight and lewis had to work hard for both fights. It took the best of Lewis to beat him so i don't know how he can say that the heavyweight division is only for the big boys. BTW it;s the other way round.

                  Tyson >>>> Holyfield >>> Lewis

in terms of accomplishments Holyfield >>>>>
