The World Boxing Association has ordered their "regular" featherweight champion Celestino Caballero (36-4, 23KOs) to face mandatory challenger Nicholas Walters (21-0, 17KOs). Both sides have until September 2nd to reach an agreement or a purse bid will be called. Caballero was previously ordered to face Mikey Garcia, who instead will target an October fight with WBO champion Orlando Salido.

TMT should match him with Billy Dib after this.

        Cab vs Gary Russell Jr.

        Weird match-up.

For what? Russell Jr won't get no credit for it.

Gary hasn't fought anyone at all. Nothing, nada. Of course he would get credit for fighting a Vet and dude a foot taller than him.

It would be a solid win over a Top 10 FW, who has a title. Would be good for Russell to pursure that bout.

They'll probably come out with the excuse that Caballero was washed up.

Some one will always doubt but the majority of the Boxing world would respect the win.
