cause they only sent two boxers. and one is almost in the medal race.

pretty good for sending just two.

Mexico just doesn't give a **** about amateurs.

Poor Funding, and a lacking boxing program.

Mexico needs more coaches like Nacho Beristáin or el "Cuyo" Hernández, so that we can see the return of the famed Mexican Text Book boxing as seen by the Marquez bothers or Ricardo Lopez.

A few games back they had Ponce DeLeon and Jose Luis Zertuche. Even Abner Mares and Jesse Vargas. I think Abner beat Juanma in the Olympics. Could be wrong about that but he def beat him in the amateurs.

Its called national pride and having pride from where you come from. Something mayweather advocates and trys to promote to the U.S. for the U.S. to take pride in their country and back their fighters, but for some reason the U.S. refuses to.

I know what it is called and it is very VERY dumb. It is also very VERY dumb to assume other people get the hard on that you get when you see your flag, much like Mr.Fantastic. He assumed I would get emotionally hurt when he brought up Lebanese athletes in the Olympics, unfortunately he isn't aware that most normal people don't get teary eyed when they see their flag. I have even made fun of Lebanese boxers because........they suck. Why can't he just accept that Mexico has 2 medals...*UPDATE now 4!*
I don't know what Mayweather has to do with ANYTHING at all over here and it is seriously off that you are bringing him up here...

Most of the good young mexican fighters turn pro at an early age, let's not forget. 16, 17, 18 years old. Pretty damn normal.

Better yet, where is Puerto Rico in the Olympics? Aren't they suppose to be the hotbed in boxing, with an excellent boxing program? I would think, US would benefit from more Puertorican representatives, or do they turn pro early as well?
