    Typical. But he's very agressive and his conditioning seems to be on point so he's been overwhelming his opponents with a lot of offensive activity. He also has decent power so they'll get on the backfoot from time to time as he stalks them down.

              Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but Oscar Valdez is really an American representing Mexico for the Olympics, no?

              That being said, I saw his fight today and it was real inspiring. His determination and heart pulled it through. I can easily see his style translating to the pros very well

                You are thinking of Oscar Molina, the guy that went out in the first round, Oscar Valdez is from Nogales, Sonora.

                    In the TV they said born in Nogales, and in many sites they put his birth place at Nogales, but hey it doesn't matter, he's representing us that's all that matters.

                    I'm also supporting Ramirez and I root for many mexican-americans, just because I hate Oscar doesn't mean I hate Chicanos haha

                      mexico has 12 medals in boxing, dont know why that moron said 2....... unfortunately mexico is slipping in terms of boxing but making up for it in diving in these Olympics......
