If Broner can beat Gamboa, he shoots up the P4P list IMMEDIATELY.

I'm not trying to say he sucks or anything, but he reminds me of Paul Williams in this respect.
Salido fights entirely different from Broner. And "high rate" is a little strong. I don't think Yuri gets hit all that much, to be honest. I can point to the fact that Adrien had his hands full with slow, plodding, limited Ponce De Leon. Broner is taller and has better reach than Yuri. He likes to pot-shot, yet Gamboa did a much better job using the same method versus the same opponent. Adrien was lucky to get the nod versus Ponce; Yuri made it a sparring session. What conclusions are we to draw from that?

Nothing really, because both fighters will be different from when they fought Ponce. I'd say Gamboa is the better fighter, but the hands thing is just something I noticed. I think the very best fighters can take advantage of it.

I'm not saying you did. But Martinez is, in fact, the middleweight champ. He's also generally considered a P4P fighter. Sergio started at 147, Floyd at 130. That alone says a lot about their natural size disparity. You apparently want Mayweather to fight Martinez at 154, twenty-four pounds over Floyd's debut weight. Sergio would simply be coming down six pounds from where he's currently at, or seven pounds from where he started. You're unreasonably hard to please, at least in this particular case.

On the same note, you're on here all the time displaying your man love for Floyd. What's the difference?? You love him, I dislike him. You spread your love I spread my dislike. Take your own advice.
Me complimenting a fighter, admiring him, showing him respect and being thankful for having the opportunity to witness them fight is considered by you to be man love? And you think showing respect and displaying hate are equal?

And I do love all fighters I have since I was a child, so if that's man love I'm not ashamed of that

            Perhaps.

Yuri's a cocky guy. He's been a great fighter his whole life. He's amazingly fast and athletic. Guys like that often like to show off. It's nothing unusual. A lot of people have pointed out that Gamboa drops his hands. It's quite evident. What a lot of people fail to see, or acknowledge, is that Yuri tends to do that when he's out of range. Gamboa gets hit at a less-than-average rate, in my opinion. When he does get tagged, it's usually when he's being reckless. But Yuri has toned down that recklessness in his last few fights. He's visibly improved...and that's bad news for everyone else.

If Gamboa wins does he make top 5?

Do you feel the same way about PAC fighting Sergio? Sergio has called PAC out numerous times! Also do you feel the same way about Sergio moving up to fight guys at 168lbs?

Fair points. If he eliminates the recklessness, he's a handful for everyone from 135-147.

Some on here think Floyd beats Pacquiao and Canelo like taking candy from a baby. I don't think these fights are a certain win for Floyd. I think he could lose. If Floyd stays at 154 he should fight Martinez at that weight. If he drops the 154 tittle and holds on to his 147 pound tittle then I am fine with him fighting the best welterweights possible. He should not have to fight above his natural weight class because he is to good for fighters his own size.

When all else fails, bring up Pacman. Why would I feel the same about Pacman Martinez. Pacman won't even fight Miguel Cotto without draining him. He lost to Marquez & couldn't put away a gimpy Bradley. Obviously he isn't top fighter material anymore.

Martinez has never fought at 168, but Floyd is a 154lb champ. So the comparison is moot.
