Easier he was alomost KOed and if it had been a 12 rounder rather than 10 he would have ran out of gas and been koed by feather fisted Barret.

Mesi was a stiff. I can't imagine him ever being anything but "The white hope" Easy to hit and without whiskers.

You can never say he couldn't win a title becuase of the politics and skin color..but he definitely wasn't very good.
