      Jirov almost "happened" to him...

he was a decent fighter who made for good fights, he is at least par with most of the top 15 guys right now. its always bad for the sport when something like this happens.

I don;t understand the people who think Mesi should quit, but are fine with Barrara fighting. Barrara's injury was much worse.

Mesi was not the best, but could easily have had an alphabet title by now. He has missed 2 years in court. His hearing is on DEC. 19th. It will be decided then if he will ever fight in the US again. And if he does not there is a lot of talk about him moving to ESPN for analysis.

he got dropped by a weak punching heavy and a former cruiser who shouldnt be at heavy. joe mesi would have been killed had he faced a big puncher. brewster, klit, rahman, and peter may have killed him had they fought.

Why are we still talkin about Mesi? Anyone want to guess? He barely got by Jirov and Barrett as has been stated. What has he done for anyone to think he would have won a belt?

You didn;t watch the fight huh? he got hit with a rabiit punch on the back of the head. Doctors have said that is what caused the bleeding in the brain.

Also, If Jirov can;t punch, I think Toney would like to argue with you about that one.

He beat Barrett easier than Rahman did.
