I agree, Saul is bigger and IMO has faster hand speed and is a better combination puncher and has a much better defense. Cotto will get tagged in this fight.

Idiot haters gona hate no matter what the sircunstanses are....I bet you anything that even if Canelo finds a way to beat Cotto(which is hard, but not imposible)...this Hater will still find excuses of why he beat Cotto and why he should not challenge Mayweather....excuses like Cotto is to old, shot was to hurt in the Mayweather fight. Regarding Mayweather fight, Canelo doesn't deserve that fight he is not in the same level, (but than again, who is?)he should fight 5 more fights and than fight Mayweather.
I'm willing to bash on Canelo for not taking risks and avoiding tuff fights....but big props for wanting to fight the top dogs...after all he is one of the most popular boxers out there.

I can't even be mad at the Lopez fight because he just beat up Ortiz at ww, Ortiz was scheduled to fight Canelo, he earned the right to fight the guy the fighter he knocked out was supposed to fight.

In all fairness, folks have been saying Cotto hasn't been the same since after the first Margarito fight even before he fought Pac. I think it showed in his bout against Clottey. Quite frankly, they're right. Cotto hasn't been the same since the first Marg bout. It's been 3 years in the making. He's not shot to schit, but he's far from his prime also. Put it like this, Michael Jordan today is still better than some guys in the NBA, that doesn't mean Jordan's not done. It just means that he's always been that good that even when he's not at his best he can still compete at a high level.

Secondly, Team Canelo have given us truck loads of ammo to hate on Canelo with their actions. It's not like we're just making this stuff up.

I'm going to start calling Team Canelo "Plaxico Burress" because all they do is shoot thereself lol

I'd compare where Cotto is today to where Frazier was in 74-75, to where Kareem was in 86-87, to where someone like Paul Pierce is today. He has some good left, but I don't think that much. He's past his prime-still good, has been since after the first Marg fight in my book.

I think he still has a couple of years where he can big things, but he is the downslope. Will be a different sport for me when he retires, he's the entire reason I fell in love with boxing in the first place.
