If that's the Frazier that beat Ali, I'd have to disagree. Even if Mayweather leaves 154, Cotto is not the best JMW. He's one of the biggest names, but there are several guys that can beat Cotto at 154 (i.e Angulo, Kirk and Lara).

No, it's the Frazier that fought in the Thrilla In Manila and fought Quarry, past his prime-still good. Frazier was prime in 71' when he beat Ali.

Oh ok. Yeah, I can agree with that.

Sorry, the 70's wasn't my time lol I'd have to look up stats to get my years correct. I wasn't born until 82. Anything around 86/87, I should be good in off memory.

What is Alvarez best win? Other than selling a lot of tickets cause his popularity he has no notable wins that can be a measure how he would perform fighting a top guy.

Maybe he has it maybe he doesn't, but he hasn't fought a top ten opponent let alone fighting ppl smaller than him.

He is obviously protected (by HBO, WBC and GB), matched carefully and given a championship belt and defending it on lower tier fighters.

You can be critical of the guy cause the history allows it to be. Anybody can look very good against lower tier opposition.

I'm still waiting for him to fight top opposition. I personally think that he has it but might be ruined with all the soft touches he has had that won't allow him to be prepared when it gets tough in the ring.

He is a champ for a while and those cheap excuses that he is young or in-experianced don't count

Haters and nuthuggers make NSB impossible.

Let the kid fight and stop looking for reasons to hate. It is not his fault that Pwill accident. It is not his fault Kirkland didnt sign. It is not his fault Ortiz faced Josesito instead of Berto.

LOL at looking for reasons to hate ginger. He got his title outside 154. And he's only defended outside 154,(lower to be exact). These are fact btw. Looking for reasons to hate, lol.

He defended against Ryan Rhodes, who was a top 10 Jr middleweight, and against Cintron who beat Angulo and was beating Williams before he fell out of the ring. They're not legit 154 lbers?
