It's the way they push him like this worthless story. He becomes a Pinata by default. He gets less and less respect, the more they try to make him out to be so great without any proof. Like used car salesmen putting bananas in the crank case to stop the smoking, they feed Canelo under sized and over aged boxers so they can brag about his possibilities. He's too precious to put him in with real competition, but all the guys they put in with him don't seem to matter. What's the use? Some people are boxing fans and some people are idol worshippers.

Let me put this another way. Most of these posters want Lopez to break Canelo's jaw. I would say most of those are also Latino. Hate you say? No. Normally they don't wish this on the land lord. Lopez fans? No. Nobody was aware of Lopez before a month ago except for the serious fan. Latinos love the underdog, they are the underdog, coming from behind, beating the odds is a way of life. So, Lopez, like all of Canelo's other challengers, is a serious underdog. I hope he breaks his jaw.

Wonder if this is a way for them to move the conversation away from the howling about the quality of his opposition (or lack thereof).

Don't be silly. They're in the same division, not Canelo's type. Kirkland will be fighting the winner of Lara-Vanes.

Its cool if he Canelo fights Cotto in december but what about the eliminator that Vanes and Lara are fighting? Is that a joke or what? But i guess it would be ok if the winner of Cotto and Canelo fight the winner of Vanes and Lara. I think its only fair to really give Lara and Vanes a path to a championship fight after their eliminator
