I just find it strange that no one else has noticed or commented on it at all.
Yeah I noticed right away, I was hoping he wouldn't get DQ'd...but hey you can't look for the ref to help you...better pay attention to the guy who wants to take your head off...

If the Armenian had knocked the American down after the clock ran out, how much whining and crying would there be about it?
Gausha had the fight won anyway...and well I wouldn't have been whining and crying...keep ur damn hands up!

Funny thing is Browne fights different in New York...if you go on YouTube and check his amatuer bouts that are in New York he is much more offensive...he adopted this stick and move style just for the Olympics...

He was a damn killer in NYC...which is why everyone thought he would at least medal...he doesn't fight the same against elite competition...

As already mentioned Browne didn't fight aggressive at all. He fought in a "amateur" hit and run style and Hooper is a good LHW although i think there's a good chance he loses to Mekhontsev in the next round.

Tyrrell Biggs was boring and then became exciting around his 15th fight. Browne will need to get that mean streak to be successful in the Pros. Safety first sometimes can haunt a fighter, Pro or AM.

its over, about an hour ago, the Aussie put a beating on him in the final rd to take it on pts.

Apparently there was only 2 pts in it at the end, but to me it seemed the Aussie (who was 1 behind i think going into the last rd) won the last rd a lot more convincingly than the final scores suggested

I'm looking forward to seeing more Russian fighters because of their solid reputation and when they turn pro, they are going to do some great things in the Pros if they stay focused and come to the U.S. Cubans too. The Cubans always produce a solid crop of fighters but it is sad that some we may not get to see because of laws over there. They have to defect. Now is their chance to do that in London.
