Name three fighters that should be fighting Mayweather
I guess Guerrero is the new "Khan" trying to ride the Floyd fame train constantly talking about him until someone comes along and knocks him off.. and the cycle continues.... it's really a shame because Guerrero seems like a nice guy and has been through a lot personally... but that doesn't take away from the fact that he must earn a shot against Floyd, Aydin was never a factor at WW, nor was beating him, paper champ...Comment

Guerrero shouldn't be looking at Ortiz. Ortiz should be put back on undercards, every time he has been ME he has ****ed up badly.
Lopez would be a fun fight, unfortunately for Lopez, he is about to be given a new face by Canelo.
The options, although they look great at first glance, are kind of weak for Guerrero right now.Comment

^ that's true, all the names mentioned in the article @ Welterweight and 140 are currently lined up with fights Bailey vs Alexander Paulie Malignaggi defending his title in October, Danny Garcia defending vs Erik Morales on same card, dunno about Zab Judah, but him vs Guerrero would be a fun fight I imagine. and of course Amir Khan coming off a loss, Khan vs Guerrero possible, but I don't really see Khan's team willing to throw him in with Rob so IMO
** it seems like unless Guerrero lands the Mayweather fight if he wants another fight this year, he'll have to settle for a lesser name.
he didn't skip 140 altogether, he did have that catchweight fight vs Casamayor .. which was above Lightweight, and don't forget Guerrero was lined up to fight Maidana last year before the shoulder injury
since Rob only weighed in at 145, he probably can make 140 and IMO if Rob can't land the fight with Floyd, he should drop down a division to take on Zab Judah
both seem to be having trouble getting the fights they want so why not fight each other? even at this stage a win over Judah would certainly help Guerrero's stock
plus if Peterson does get stripped by the IBF, Guerrero-Judah could be for the vacant beltComment

This bum should be stoned for even mentioning Mayweathers name. Step in your place RG. Call out Paulie or Alexander.Comment

Alvarez, Pac, Bradley, Cotto (rematch) Although I wouldn't want to see that, but over Guerro or whatever his name is. He can't beat:Khan, Ortiz, Cotto, Canelo, Pacquiao and for damn sure can't beat Mayweather. Dude is a bumb he needs to be fighting like Maligini and maybe Devon Alexander, I put money he couldn't be Alexander so yeah I named a gang of people who would tap that ass. He needs to shut up, win some fights, and hop off Mayweathers nutt's acting desperate for a pay day.Comment

To be honest name one welterweight that isn't gunning for Floyd Mayweather or wouldn't take the fight if given the chance.

I haven't heard Berto calling out Floyd. Once he deals with the PED issue and possibly rematch Ortiz or fight the likes of Josesito Lopez or Alexander, he should be given the opportunity to fight Floyd, IMO.Comment

Guerrero will be more improved for his next fight. He had ring rust and plus jumped up two weight classes. He needs perhaps two more fights and then possibly get a chance to fight Floyd (or Manny). Since Keith Thurman was talking big talk let him fight Guerrero. Then if Guerrero wins that fight, he should fight Bradley. Only if he beats Bradley he should be awarded the privilege to fight Mayweather.Comment

I am totally missing Guerrero's logic ..... OR lack thereof
He's out of the ring for a few years, comes back and fights a very limited, very beatable, low-output fighter that few have even heard of and he actually believes ..
.. this puts him ahead of the rest of the guys clamoring for a fight with Floyd. And many of these guys incidentally have been fighting their asses off while Guerrero was away from the sport tending to his injuries and his wife.
This is comedy at its best ..... at least Khan's been fighting regularly, this dude wants to come off the sideline and get the shot of a lifetime
I can understand a fighter wanting a nice paycheck .... BUT YOU HAVE TO EARN IT!!!!!!!
