they are different weight classes. and prime for prime pound for pound my money would definitely be on ponce.

demarco has only done one thing right in his career. and thats surviving to the late rounds with the fragile linares. i mean i honestly think u ppl have never seen a demarco fight besides the linares one.and even in that fight he looked like ****. ive seen more than my fair share. and the dude is a dud.

Really? U people? Listen. I'M a Mexican/American that has followed hundrend's of fighter's. DeMarco is one of them. WAAAYYYY before the Linares fight I knew he would be champ one day, so if you think Broner can just run threw the 135 lb. division without going threw HELL with Antonio DeMarco, your mistaking.

lol. valero did. quite easily. and linares would have if he had any kinda chin/durability. adjaho was on his way to beating demarco before he tried to fake an injury. and jose reyes??? yea. like i said. ponce is the better fighter. u say ur mexican, i dont even know why u would disagree. i guess thats because i follow all fighters as opposed to just one nationality. its an insult to ponce to say demarco is better.

Valero was an absolute beast. He would have KO'd Broner in 1 round. Listen friend Antonio DeMarco beat's Ponce de Leon any day of the week, that's were all this ****** argument began.

lol, valero is an absolute beast because of all the cans he fought? or because he knocked them all out? demarco was the best fighter he fought. valero wasnt a beast. he hadnt proven anything. just like broner hasnt. he was just a better fighter than demarco. and there are plenty who are. even at 135.

i hope this fight happens, so this new demarco contingent goes away. im tired of hearing about this dud.

OK PAL. If you think Ponce de Leon can jump up 2 division's and beat the 135 WBC champ Antonio DeMarco than you are a wishful thinker, cuz Ponce de Leon is about to get his ass kicked by the 126 WBC champ Jhonney Gonzalez on Sep. 15th.

I'd have to give an edge to Demarco if the fight happened at lightweight, but P4P, De Leon is a better fighter, period in my opinion. But seriously, what is up with all the Demarco "love" lately? Don't get me wrong, he's a half decent fighter. But, before the Linares fight, Demarco was looking horrible virtually every time he stepped up and fought even a remotely decent fighter.

He was utterly dominated and outclassed by Valero, was losing to Adjaho, and he was losing to Linares pretty handily as well. It seemed as though before everyone knew Demarco was really just a second tier fighter, now all of the sudden he's this beast? Come on. Not to mention the Jose Reyes fight, I mean come on now. Demarco is nothing special. Even after tonight I'd still favor Lundy over him. I'd favor Burns, Abril, Vazquez, Lundy and Broner etc over Demarco.

Weren't we talking about Broner ??? Obviously this is leading to a dead end. If PONCE DE LEON manages to get by the 126 lb.WBC champ Jhonny Gonzalez Setember 15th, than we'll evaluate his status in the boxing world.

Demarco is a horrible fighter, that's why I feel embaressed arguing with that dude claiming that the 126lb. contender was better than the 135 lb. WBC champ.
