I strongly believe a healthy Vitali beats Haye soundly, quite possibly via KO.
Vitali has never been knocked down, would Haye engage enough and trade blows? Doubtful. If he fights like the Wlad fight he will lose for sure.
Yeah, Vitali was injured against Chisora, like Haye was injured against Wlad. So if Haye wasn't injured he might have KO'd Wlad, as planned. But the injury affected his performance, just like Vitali's injury did..

Haye did duck Vitali but that was 3 years ago, it doesn't matter, we're talking present day. People say Mayweather ducked Cotto, Vitali ducked Valuev, Hatton ducked Witter.. The point is that Vitali is the one who did the most recent ducking of Haye while Haye has been calling him out for a year. So present day, Vitali is the ducker and Haye has been trying to make the fight.

        Vitali defeated Chisora. Nuff said.

If and if... Vitali got the job done. Wlad won convincingly, don't tell me Haye's pinky toe made the difference in that fight. Haye simply didn't do well enough

            Based on what?

Wlad shut him out, Haye didn't show anything that could trouble him. You can't blame that on a toe injury.

Also, Haye HIMSELF admitted in later interviews that Wlad was simply better on the day.

My point is that if you accept Vitali's excuse that his performance was effected against Chisora because of an injury, then by the same token you have to accept Haye's injury excuse against Wlad. Personally I think both were just that.. excuses.

Seems a torn ligament in the shoulder is a little bit better excuse than a hurt pinky toe. And Vitali was not whining about his injury like Haye was. Haye made a pathetic excuse for his clear defeat, while Vitali suffered a serious injury and made the job done. That's the difference right there.
