No facts don't equal truth, what a Pac hater says does lol. And why the hostility?

Couldn't care less how Cotto's negotiations are going as no one's trying to claim he's the P4P number one fighter. But, if that match is for a title, then it means little to me.

Pacquiao's request of a catchweight was mildly reasonable- if the belt wasn't on the line. I don't mind CWs to a point, but when a challenger starts asking for aids to win belts, then it's tainted. You want full credit for taking a title and be thought of a the best, then do it on the champs terms. If you can't, for whatever reason, then don't fight in the division. The win against Cotto was brutal and an excellent performance but tainted nonetheless.

Beating numbers 2-5 WHILE THEY ARE 2-5 means plenty. Pac didn't quite manage it for various reasons (refusing one at 147lbs while in good form being one of them). To top it off, the performancees/results against two fighter outside of the division on the spin means a bit too. I don't place Pacquiao lower than number 2 due to the reasons you've given, HeroBrando and won't rubbish Pac's run. I just think he's slipped to number 2 seeing as he isn't top of his division and slipped a bit against two fighters not ranked in his division, coming from lower ones.

But to everyone's surprise turns out he can take a welterweight punch. Lots of guys chins failed them before their 7th weightclass.
All i want you to say is "he needed to drain cotto to get an advantage" cause posters on here act like the catchweight had 0 effect on that fight..............

How about my 3 examples of unreasonable catchweights, surely you agree they're worse than Pac Cotto? How come there's hardly a thread about any of these, where's the outrage?

Nothing in the way it played out tells me he needed it. To remind you, Cotto had given up on winning by round 5, and put on quite a track show for a drained guy.

Cause the outrage come's from people acting like the catchweight made no difference..Manny refuses to fight Cotto without a catchweight period

Ok but you just said he "needed"the damn catchweight and justified it

I don't think it is an alt...I'm pretty sure it is that tennis hero pac worshiper that has gotten banned a couple times. Yes, he really is this ******...for at least two years.

Exactly, apparently not squaring up against an opponent is considered running away by some of these clowns. They were circling him and he lacked the ring generalship to draw them against the ropes or into a corner.

I don't know what point you're trying to make. Pac's first catchweight request generated a thousand times more outrage than way more unreasonable cw requests by PWill, DLH, Cotto did. Why?
