You criminally underrate the Klitschkos to a degree I've never quite seen from a boxing fan before. What is it about them that makes your ass leak with so much butthurt

he should go for the finish for sure. if you have a significant advantage in skill you can get your man out of there without taking risks so theres no reason not to. dont be reckless but apply your skills and show your superiority.
Gatti-Ward was low quality by technical standards, but it was exciting as hell, no?

Cause of the knockdowns I bet......both were tired as hell by 4th or so. I might be wrong. Can't expect me to remember the full details from fights many many years ago. I'll check it out.

Visually,it doesn't look like wlad is boxing with skill, he looks scared to get hit in the jaw.
So fighting smart is now a black mark on ones legacy. Wlad isn't gonna be in anyone's top 10 most exciting heavyweight boxers but some posters on this site let that cloud the mans greatness

Boxing is all about results, since teaming up with Steward there are few heavyweights in the history of this sport who can match Wlads dominance on a round by round basis

And before anyone brings up competition, Wlad would ****in wreck the likes of Marciano and Dempsey and dare I say he'd give Ali and Lennox a ****in Great fight

james toney is another fighter i loved watching in his prime, a defensive counterpuncher. but off those counters he was looking to knock ppl out. he was a safety first fighter, but he was scoring KO's from that safe zone using his skills and smarts.

thats boxing at its best, true pugilism. fighters who can punch your lights out without getting hit back. safety first and seek and destroy, it takes skills though. thats what matters, skills.

id rather watch a quality pure boxer than a lesser brawler, a technical fight fought at a high skill level over a brawl between flawed fighters. i would rather watch hopkins in his prime when he would dish out savage beatings to his opponents then now when hes just looking for the decision since the skill level is the same. but id still rather watch hopkins today than someone with lesser skills and smarts even if it was an action fighter.
Ok, answer me this. Who would you rather watch: Joe Frazier or Jimmy Young?

We all love wars. What do you mean by playing it safe? Running and holding or using your superior boxing skills and not run face first into shots.

I enjoy boxing clinics just as much as a war but I don't care for someone running and holding.

Lol, yeah I know, that's why I rank Wlad 16th all time with time to move up. That's why I've said repeatedly either Klit would contend in ANY era if not outright be champions. You guys are really something when you can't mount a valid argument.

I understand your point but I think what applies to bxoing as a whole doesn't apply to heavyweights.

Look at it like this, everyone wants to lose weight, but no one wants Santa Claus to be skinny. The HWT champ is suppoded to be the "baddest man on the planet" not a defensive genius.

You have to be honest about it, WLad at times looks scared of getting KO'd again. The Haye fight is thhe extreme example of this.. Wlad would almost run away from a dude he had by almost 40lbs.

Maybe its just US fans have become used to a certain type of fighter at HWT.

I like you and all as a poster but you've been put in your place a couple of times before when it comes to the Klits. At least that's how I view it. A person that hates the Klits might agree with you even if it's against facts that were posted by Jimmy or Freedom.
