Rob is a very good coach...maybe a good move. Not sure how good he can be for Brook in terms of improving his technique, his fitness and conditioning will take a leap though.

I wasn't impressed, he got a hometown decision against Carson. His outside game is more like a race and he got busted up on the inside. He made it to the final bell and got the decision, but he didn't win the fight. Carson chased him from pillar to post, made the fight that Kell was avoiding, and left the ring in much better condition. Come to America Kell and get your hat handed to you.

Good move for Brook, Mcracken makes sure his fighters are superbly conditioned and good fundamentals, exactly what Kell needs as he takes over from Amir Khan as britains premier fighter from 140-147

I agree with this, but his technique isn't the problem. His technique, when he is on it, is fantastic. When he works his jab its devastating.
He may be thinking that it would be cheaper to hire a trainer that will get his conditioning up instead of having a full time trainer in Dominic Ingle and then paying someone else for conditioning/nutrition etc.

Brook would've been more suited to a style other than the Ingle's. He's a very nice boxer but his frailties lie in his style and lack of defence. McCracken is a good coach but if Brook wants a change, he should consider American options.

If he can develop a strong defence then he'll progress so much further. He's already got the boxing ability, speed, footwork, power - just needs to sort out his major weakness.

I think hes technically very sound it was just his conditioning that let him down which is quite strange for an Ingle gym fighter.
Dom Ingle knows his stuff and is in supreme condition himself, I am thinking it maybe mainly attributed to a bad weight cut.

Brook said himself he didn't cut the weight properly add to the fact he doesn't have a strength & conditioning coach.

I'm amazed by how many top British fighters don't have a strength & conditioning coach.
