How will a 21-24 year old Fernando Vargas do in today's 154 Division?

I seen Vargas fight top fighters at age 19-24, an age guys like Canelo and Chavez Jr was still building stats and fighting bums. He was fighting guys like Wright and Ike at age 20.Tbh that's probably what ruined Vargas. Fighting a prime Trinidad when you are 22 years old is never a good idea.

But how will he do in today's current 154 era? Not counting Mayweather.

    Cotto
    Trout
    Erislandy Lara
    Kirkland
    Canelo
    Vanes
    KG
    Angulo etc

He will not be a top 10 fighter in today's 154

He beats just about everyone IMO. Cotto, Lara and Kirkland are toss ups in my book.

I think a 22 year old Vargas would have made this current 22 version of Canelo bleed.

Cotto? I don't konw, but I feel he will beat most of the top 10

He'd cop a belt for sure. I think Lara, maybe Cotto and Trout would beat him.
For me he beats all the rest, likely stops them.

Kirkland is a toss up? A prime Ferocious Fernando Vargas knocks that chinless scrub out in 1 round. Hell I think Vargas could come back now and still whoop his ass.

I don't know about Kirkland. His style seem like he will be knocked out against Vargas. But Lara and Cotto probably give Vargas very tough fights.

I think Vargas is much bigger then Cotto. In size area he have the edge.

                vargas is getting underrated here..

with this current crop of 154, he will be the lineal champ..

He would not beat Canelo.......Canelo asks for random drug testing.

Vargas getting seriously underratd. Prime Vargas is on top of this division, no doubt in my mind.
