I can't believe you people are crying about this. It is good for the sport to be TV friendly. This is how they pay the bills. You guys act like this will make a difference. All this does is help increase the revenue which is good all around.

Because they want to present the sport live. It is already delayed 15 seconds because of the SB half time. If you keep delaying the broadcast 7 seconds each round it will add up over the course of 2 or 3 fights. This is a good thing for the sport.

if you want to have boxing on network TV you're going to have to play ball. as of right now they are simply not showing the first few seconds of the round. i'd rather have them extend the time in between than to miss somebody getting flattened by the first punch of the round.

This is kind of how I'm feeling. If this is what it takes to get boxing back on network TV, then let's do this.

I don't like it... but in reality it's not THAT big of a deal. 7 seconds... and both fighters get it, so there's no advantage in the fight between fighters.

Like I said, I don't like it, but it'll be alright.

If they just did this on the low without really publicizing it how long would it take anyone to even notice the change~

Not saying that is the route they should have gone but serious I would think at least a couple years.
