nooooo way in hell pac wins at 130. imagine what floyd would have done to mab/morales/jmm at 130. he would have run through pac. he had serious power and combinations at 130. now he just popshots most of the time.

Floyd was an absolute demon at that weight class.
This is comming from a boxing fan.
Floyds footspeed was tremendous. His leaping left hooks would trouble pac so much. He could close distance lightening fast.
His evasive footwork was lightening fast. I know pac is fast too but at 130lbs i find it ludicrous that pac would find floyd easily. he would have a damn hard job.
He was a much more aggressive fighter at 130lbs.
His straight rights ( with a whole lot more pop behind them at that weight ) would trouble pac all night long.
He would have more than enough power behind his shots to make pac respect him.
at 130lbs floyd stops pac, toys with pac, vintage pretty boy style. That floyd back then was a demon in the ring.
Pacs best chance to beat him is at : 147lbs , right now.
If he fights a fight where he can get floyd on the ropes, plant his feet , let off quick powerful combos ( with out getting tied up by floyd ) , switch his angles, and GET OUT of RANGE, then i think he can do it maybe.
combo punching nuetralises counter punching.
But floyd isnt just any counter puncher. Manny could have to be tight as hell.
at 147lbs if they ever fight, floyd wins. Too smart, too quick, too sharp.
At 130lbs, floyd would have give pac a solid beating

put Flod and Manny in the same sentence and you'll find words like..could've, should've, would've, probably, if and the most used term when talking Floyd and Manny is "I think"....these words have to be in the same sentence when talking about them because they ill never share the same ring...same sentences all day though...smh

PAC can't even convincingly defeat jmm in 3 fights, in 3 different weight classes over the span of 8 years and I'm supposed to believe he could ever defeat Floyd mayweather jr?? Floyd made jmm look like a scrub and humiliated him with pure boxing skill!! Floyd could've easily walked him down and punished jmm like he did the much stronger, bigger and faster Shane Mosley but he put on an excellent display of skill. Jmm was p4p #2 at the time. Nobody can bring up the rise in weight because he jumped 2 weight classes to fight PAC last year and outclassed manny. Jmm only 2 fights at ww was vs Floyd and manny and he was dominated by mayweather who came off a 19 month layoffthen 2 years later and 2 years older he whoops Mannys ass at 147 so nobody can bring up the weight jump.

Common opponnets between Pac and Floyd it is Pac doing the business not Floyd, so why should we all of a sudden believe Floyd would destroy Morales? Thats a big ask!
Pac beat Morales, Floyd has yet to prove he can. Floyd has to beat Morales to prove he is a candidate to be victorious over Pac.

Morales's loss to Raheem was mainly because he underestimated Raheem and also cuz he was drinking tequila until like 2 am the night before. Morales was not washed up at that time, he was just being an idiot. After the 1st Morales fight, Pacman got much better and that is the time when he may have beaten Floyd at 130.
And yes Morales did underestimate raheem and wasnt past it when pac beat morales. Morales was very experienced when he fought Pac. Morales is still fighting today and doing well so no one believes Morales was past it, not even Floyd fans.
But no one underestimates Pac, and Morales was up for Pac. Floyd has to beat Morales to be even considered a candidate to beat Pac. Floyd hasnt got off first base yet, hasnt even achieved triangle theory yet.
Thats why Floyd fans are sickening, i think they try wind people up intentionally.Last edited by hugh grant; 07-25-2012, 05:23 AM.

You take the Mayweather that knocked out Angel Manfredy in two rounds vs Manny Pacquiao who beat Morales for the third time. Mayweather would beat him for sure.
