If Wlad Klitschko was american, he would be regarded as...

....one of the greatest Heavyweights of all time, if not THE greatest Heavyweight of all time. Period.
And you guys know its the truth.
You cant tell me there is anything Joe Louis has done that Wlad didnt do. They both ruled for a very very long time and their opponents were considered mediocre because of their dominance in the ring. How can anybody say Louis is the greatest ever and in the same breath say Wlad is "maybe top 15 or top 20".
Im not saying Wlad is the greatest ever, but if he was american, the american press would compare him to Joe Louis and Ali and Larry Holmes. Period.
And for all the youngsters on this forum who don't know anything about stuff which happened before 2010: after Wlad lost within one year to Brewster and Corrie Sanders, EVERYBODY said his career is over. Look what he done since then. The world press said Wlad is finished, he is done, his career is over. And look how he came back. Against the odds. That's comparable to all the won rematches of Muhammad Ali.

this era of HWT boxing is so terrible that wlad would never be considered the best hwt ever or one of the greatest no matter what race or nationality he is or was.

Yes, and Pacquiao is pretty popular too, again not American.

If you're boring you're boring, no matter what your Nationality, throw on top of that extremely pathetic competition and you see the problem.

In all fairness most Americans do rank him as one of the best of all time. They acknowledge him as a great heavyweight & rightfully so.

Wlad fans seem to want to force this idea that Wlad is the greatest ever on everyone.

Just watch Wlad fights and then watch a fight from years past. It's like watching a fight in slow motion. He's slow and robotic and doesn't throw combinations. Jab, jab, jab, cross. Stand, stand, jab, jab, jab, cross. Come on now. If the competition wasn't nothing but fat out of shape "fighters" with ******* swinging all about who knows what his record would be.

He is the best RIGHT NOW. Why can't Wlad fans be happy with that and move on? And no he wouldn't be considered the greatest ever. Larry Holmes got NO RESPECT when he was fighting. And if you compare the guys he fought to the complete bums that are heavyweights nowadays then Holmes was much better so your argument makes no sense whatsoever.

Great fighters don't get KTFO by bums like Brewster and Purritty. End of thread.

lol the guy ducked Sanders like the plague after getting KO'd and let his MUCH better brother kick Sander's old ass after Sanders was retired to be a pro golfer at 38 years old.

Brewster has always been a journey man the guy already had losses to Etienne and barely squeaked out a SD against Meehan RIGHT after beating Wlad.

Tell me, how many other American superstars are there aside of Floyd? NONE. America doesn't care about boxing like it once did.

Boxing was WAAAAAAAAY more popular in the 70's and 80's and that was a time before what social media is today, before the internet, before HD TV, before phones etc.
