Josesito will likely weigh on fight night at around 147-150, Canelo on fight night is going to be weighing in at 165-170, maybe even a tad more.

I don't like this fight, I think Lopez is a good fighter but I don't agree with this fight being made though he deserves the payday, every bit of it.

I pray it don't happen but what happens when a fighter gets seriously hurt against a guy with a 15-25lb weight advantage? Its ridiculous, may as well say fcuk it, scrap the weight limits & weigh ins.

This is going to be a better fight than people are giving it credit for. I'm expecting Canelo to win and handily but Lopez is going to make him work for it and both guys come to fight so it is going to be exciting however long it lasts. Plus Lopez is a durable dude. He's rugged and he's not going to go down from the first hard shot or first combination he gets hit with, he's going to keep coming and that will bring out the best in Alvarez. There's opponents id have rather seen Canelo face but he has plenty of time to face them later down the road and this to me is more interesting than say Alvarez vs Kirkland. Why? Lopez is going to come at him and be aggressive but he'll do it smart and skillfully which will present a challenge. I think Alvarez would knock out a guy like Kirkland early and easily.

You won't hear any excuse from me, I have no doubt Sergio will destroy him. If Chavez Jr proves me wrong I will give him all the credit in the world.
Pavlik is 6'2 & came in at 179, every bit as big as Chavez Jr and we all know how that one went.

Tbh there won't be a massive weight difference come fight night IMO
maybe 10-12lbs, a big difference compared to what I imagine Canelo vs Lopez will be.

It always amazes me when i see 'boxing fans' wanting to see future superstar fighters fall hard and lose.

I'd laugh my a$$ of if Josesito decides to use the reach & fight behind the jab & use the ring to box ginger's head off.

i think it will be a better fight than most hope for.....

i take what alot is said on here with a grain of salt, 90% of boxing fights are shitted on by you guys, so many fights are always discredited on here that i simply dont care for what much is said on here besides actual news.... i still remember what most said before ortiz/berto... pac/marquez... ect etc......

                  my advice to all you,

Canelo is pathetic for taking this fight.

your leaving out the fact that at the time Pavlik was going thru full blown alchoholism and was just throwing very simple 1-2s Chavez main thing he has going for him is his style, youth but overall punch arsenal, Thats the difference here, the size may or may not help, but the constant pressure ,debilitating hooks to the body which sergio will have no defense for and straight right hand are bound to give sergio a loss or at least some serious pain.
Sergio isnt anywhwere near as unbeatable as people say he is ,hed ko mayweather or pac in the same night because of the size advanyage, so far hes done best against welterweights like williams and non-proven euro fighters. And those guys have come very close to beating him. I cant help but notice sergios last 3-4 fights he gets hit a lot and he doesnt respond well to pressure.I see what freddie sees , Sergio fights with his hands down at his side that alone will cost him this fight wait and see.

Id be surprised to see chavez lose at this point he will have just too much come fight night for martinez. Everyone still has the "Chavez sux is a joke " mentality theyre failing to see what is and what was doesnt exist anymore, Sergio is likley getting stopped if Margarito could do it Chavez can do it even worse as chavez has far better fundamentals....
