You guys are right about Garcia was landing that overhand right pretty regularly, but he was taking a bad beating all the while. I think Khan got overeager and paid the price.

Now that he has been properly reminded of his glass chin, Khan'll fight Garcia like he fought Maidana (which had me callin' feggits at him, btw) and survive for the decision.

Would even be willing to bet some of my Broner e-windfall on it.

He did throw it a lot but in the 3rd mainly he switched tactics and went to the body a lot more which Khan didn't like one bit, that body attack bought Khans hands down & we all know the rest

He landed nothing on Garcia in round 3, look at his every attack get picked off & countered. Love how the bodyshot he was warned for was borderline & he went and threw another straight after, he knew he didn't like that.

How was Khan outboxing this guy exactly? All I see is the exact opposite.
Garcia making him miss & making him pay.

Look how much he is overreaching & off balance.

a lot of people think throwing punches that don't land clean is good boxing. as long as you throw a lot you must be winning?

lol at switch tactics...all h was looking for was the left hook counter ..the only time he swicthed tactic was when he could tee off khan with anything he threw due to khan not recovering well from the first punch...

shows just how dumb khan is. if it were only about heart yeah he'd do just fine, but it sure as hell ain't. there's certainly a chance he could win a re-match but he's too dumb to do the right things to ensure a solid chance of that happening, he'll just keep on doing whatever he does...

There is no reason for Garcia to give Khan a damn thing. But if the money's right he should make that easy, quick buck. Khan thought he uses him as a stepping stone & got throttled something fierce. There's someone in the drivers seat alright, but it ain't Khan.

If he can't make more money fighting anyone else then yeah.

The best way to answer this question is to compare it with the Peterson fight.

                      vs Peterson

                      Khan was the IBF/WBA Champion
Khan agreed to fight in Peterson's home town
Khan was the bigger draw out of the two
It was a split decision win for Peterson, and there was an argument for both fighters.
There was controversy over the officiating

                      vs Garcia

Garcia signed the fight as WBC champion (Khan hadn't had his belts reinstated when the fight was announced)
                      Garcia was undefeated
Fight was in Vegas, nobody's hometown
Khan was the bigger draw out of the two
Khan got KTFO in 4 rounds.
                      No controversy in officiating.

If there is no clause in the contract, Danny doesn't need to take the fight. Peterson did need to take the rematch because there was a lot of question marks over the victory. Danny was undefeated and the champion, he was in a stronger position of power than Lamont before his fight with Khan.

I'm not bothered either way if he takes it.
