I thought he was pretty articulate in his response to Max.

I also thought he was humble and honest. He thought he was being fed a lamb, turned out the guy was much tougher and he had to put more in and bring a different fight plan.

I certainly wouldn't pick him over Malignaggi or Bradley, but he seems to have the humbleness to get better. We'll see

Not impressed with thurman. He fought against a complete. Lora got destroyed by abother fighter on espn and is garbage. He made thurman work for the ko when they where making thurman to be this beast

Thurmans record does indicate that he has above average power but honestly i wasn't that impressed with him performance. His technique wasn't all that great and he does throw power shots but doesn't really mix up his combinations too great. just my honest opinion.

he's wasn't impressive at all. the way HBO was hyping him up was making me vomit. he's decent puncher, but not at all what the hype suggests, his punches don't have the thud nor the snap of a power puncher like a randall bailey, kendall holt, thomas dulorme, or lucas matthysse . not very sharp technically as well. B level talent, a C level fighter at this moment.

very impressed, i don't know what everyone else who wasn't was watching. He was calm and collected and adjusted to what Lora showed him. decieving power. Lora was done but he wasnt exactly layed out on the canvas, and you know Im fine with that. Boxing s exciting in many different ways. a war, a chessmatch, and most of the time it's a fight like this one where one guy is slowly breaking another man's will to continue. good fight, and a very good start for Thurman on HBO.
