I find that a lot of fights that people call "robberies" aren't robberies at all. Often its a case of people being butt-hurt because they hate the fighter that won or they're gay for the fighter who lost, or a case of racism/nationalism.

Having said that, I'll watch the fight and post my scorecard.

Not really much of an excuse.

The reason why people talk about him getting better as time went on is because people quickly point out the Ponce fight, as if that's some sort of absolute guarantee he'd lose against a tough opponent.

Ok, so I just watched the fight. Twas a boring one.

I had the fight dead even, 76-76

It was a sloppy fight, lots of missed punches, lots of wasted movement by both fighters. Quintero looked like he was going to take it but Broner adjusted and won the 7th round. Round 8 I gave to Broner but it was a very sloppy round where hardly anything landed, probably could have went either way.

That said, 78-74 and 77-75 is generous for Broner, not good scores. He won four rounds at most. I feel the only acceptable scores were 76-76 or 77-75 Quintero. Although I strongly feel that the fight was a draw, but wouldn't have been complaining if Quintero edged it.

Pretty much the same everyone who thinks Quintero won feels. I don't have a problem with saying the PDL fight could've gone either way but not this fight, no sir. This fight and the Ponce fight are the blueprints to beating Broner IMO. Take it into the late rounds and make it a sloppy fight.
