Broner's talents are very replaceable. Al Haymon has Russell Jr but we're not gonna get into this.
IMO Broner is more followed cause of his talking than talent. Bet you he got more haters than actual fans, something along the lines of Mayweather. You know?
In the fight game you need as much talent as possible to offset that, and hopefully worry about having to much as that is a good problem to have

Sometimes or most of the time they crap out but you always take that risk, if you are unwilling to take a risk on talent then you shouldn't be in the fight game~

I mean think about it. The combined purse was originally $450,000. Escobedo's taking $400,000 out of the pot. And Broner has paid a $30,000 to the Ohio Athletic Commission.
That leaves Broner's share of the pot at $20,000. Money isn't going to miraculously appear out of nowhere. Ticket sales are what they are going to be, HBO paid what they paid and this isn't a PPV bout with additional revenue streams and purses of the undercard fighters are not going to be cut. The budget for fight purses for the main event was $450,000.
Haymon probably...NO DEFINITELY has to come out of pocket to pay Broner.

HBO was also about building stars one round at a time, that takes time and Broner does have a lot of career in front of him to prove that investment wise or unwise.
I don't know the future, Broner has talent time will tell if he makes good it, he is worth investing in though.
