Broner's talents are very replaceable. Al Haymon has Russell Jr but we're not gonna get into this.

IMO Broner is more followed cause of his talking than talent. Bet you he got more haters than actual fans, something along the lines of Mayweather. You know?
Boxing is a game where most end up failing, even the best more sure thing prospects have dreadful failure rates.

In the fight game you need as much talent as possible to offset that, and hopefully worry about having to much as that is a good problem to have

Sometimes or most of the time they crap out but you always take that risk, if you are unwilling to take a risk on talent then you shouldn't be in the fight game~
he's talented compared to most but is he one of the best fighters in the world? hbo claims they only show the best fights and the best fighters. my question is how do we know broner is the best if he doesn't fight anyone and keeps cherry picking? ponce was the only established guy he ever fought and he looked crap. why aren't they showing ponce fights? cause he's not with haymon and isn't a "flashy" personality. boxing is just hype to fool people. it's not an actual sport.

I mean think about it. The combined purse was originally $450,000. Escobedo's taking $400,000 out of the pot. And Broner has paid a $30,000 to the Ohio Athletic Commission.

That leaves Broner's share of the pot at $20,000. Money isn't going to miraculously appear out of nowhere. Ticket sales are what they are going to be, HBO paid what they paid and this isn't a PPV bout with additional revenue streams and purses of the undercard fighters are not going to be cut. The budget for fight purses for the main event was $450,000.

Haymon probably...NO DEFINITELY has to come out of pocket to pay Broner.

He could be one of the best fighters in the world he passes all the eye ball tests. Ponce was what his 20th fight when he was 20, I remember specifically talking to you about not holding fights against young green fighters, or does this not apply to Broner.

HBO was also about building stars one round at a time, that takes time and Broner does have a lot of career in front of him to prove that investment wise or unwise.

I don't know the future, Broner has talent time will tell if he makes good it, he is worth investing in though.
