Fighters just need to fight @ their appropriate weight class. If you're coming in 3lbs. above your weight limit...you need to move up in weight simple as that. I'm concerned about the same thing happening to Chavez in the Martinez fight.

Apparently not. It's looking like the whole show is cancelled, but I did read that supposedly HBO and co are still trying to 'negotiate' AKA pressure Escobedo into just taking more money... -_-

dude is too arrogant, i think the fame went to his head. hes very young to be having this kind of success and exposure and i think hes feeling himself a bit too much. i used to love his confidence but this is taking it too far.

cant belive he would let down his hometown fans like this not to mention all his fans around the world who were looking forward to watching on hbo, like myself. its very unproffessional and classless. at this point i just hope escobedo gets paid for the time he put in at the gym and an immidiate second shot at the title.

i hope broner gets punished too, im not gonna go as far as some ppl and say i hope we never hear from him again. but i hope he gets put on the shelf for a while, i hope he truly has to pay for this so that he learn his lesson nbcuz this is unacceptable.
