That's a shame, but it's funny to read that article, obviously it was a PR person who wrote it but imagine Enzo actually saying it:

"Furthermore, I voluntarily vacated my British Cruiserweight Championship so to allow my opponent, Shane McPhilbin, the opportunity to rechallenge for it whilst I serve my 6 months suspension, as I could not bear the thought of holding such a prestigious championship if anyone thought that I hadn’t won it fairly."

        lol

Yeah, America! Where your fighters are voluntarily taking "Olympic" style testing leading up to fights that are cancelled should you fail even one and are suspended if you B-sample also fails!

Take that America! I don't care if it led to a blood and guts fight between Victor Ortiz and Lopez or that sensational knockout of Amir Khan!

              I. DO. NOT. CARE. I want my fighters to be caught after the fact, apologize, give up their belts and serve their suspensions AFTER any damage from the substance is already delivered.

              F**k you, America!!!

Not all are voluntarily taking olympic tests. Chavez Jnr can get away with refusing standard testing. Where is the ban for the fighters that have tested positive? That's why i made that comment, they have been caught but where is the punishment.

but that goes for fighters in the uk as well. the uk has nothing to be proud of on the drug testing front either. i dunno why u brits think so. Olubamiwo was only caught because he was ratted out by the US DEA. He claims he was rarely tested and that there were plenty of other fighters around him using as well.

Boxing is full of cheats it's clear for everyone to see, but not banning those that have been caught is sending a message that it isn't such a big deal.
