i think khan was a bit wreckless. he saw that he was landing at will and that he was considerably faster than garcia... and for the most part, he was dodging all of garcia's lobbing hooks... the moment he got too confident, he opened up and got nailed.

wild card needs to focus on some defense... khan mustve forgot he doesnt have a chin like pac & chavez.

Let the Khan haters (boxing fan boys) shine. I agree with what one poster said. that he seems more concerned with pleasing the fans, then just using his advantages such as his jab, height, and speed. Hes NOT Manny Pacquiao no matter how much he wants to be. What Manny does works for him, and Manny is far more controlled when he "looks reckless". As for the idiots saying he has no chin...he took way harder shots from Maidana, and was in a much tougher war with Lamont. He just got hit with a good shot he didnt see coming. It happens in boxing. Ive said it a million times....Amir has all the tools to be so much more than he is, but his mental seems just to be dog s. He was too busy thinking about Floyd, and how hes the next big thing, instead of staying focused of where he is currently at....almost as if he feels he is ENTITLED to be elite, and not going through the proper channels. Can he recover from this...I dont know, but he is really at a crossroads with his career right now, and while i ALWAYS gave him credit for wanting to fight the best, and EVERYONE, perhaps he needs to slow down a bit, and do what some like to call "cherry pick" a few fights to regain momentum. He has the talent (no matter what idiot fan boys on here say)...he just needs the smarts to go to the next level..especially in a sport that's 80% mental and 20% physical.

His defence needs work and sometimes he just needs to throw with more authority, some of his punches are too 'pity pat' at times and it just leaves him open for a counter much like what happened at the weekend.
