This is why, Maidana has never legit knocked out a notable opponent, Ortiz don't count because he quit & has no heart.

Peterson isn't a big puncher either.

Peterson doesn't hit very hard and Maidana is wide & slow and he seen the punches coming at a guess.

Peterson isn't powerful
Maidana hurt him, but was too crude to finish him
Garcia hurt him and didn't let him off the hook
he simply fought better than Maidana or Peterson did

He actually was taking Garcias shots in the 4th,just never recovered from that 1st left hook he did not see.and with Maidiana he RAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Diff was khan didn't get countered by Maidana or Peterson he pretty much saw the shots coming but didn't have the skills to avoid them. With Garcia he never saw the shot coming and was in the process of throwing his own

it doesnt really matter how hard the punch is or the puncher is...

it matters where the punch lands... that punch garcia landed was on the neck/back of ear that ****ed up his equilibrium

If Maidana landed a shot like the one Garcia landed it would have been goodnight Khan aswell.

Garcia just landed a fight finisher. Simple as that. It was not luck, it was a fight ending punch.
