I'm pissed off as well, I think these three should've beem HBO's best of 2005:

1) Bernard Hopkins vs. Howard Eastman

2) Wladimir Klitschko vs. Eliseo Castillo

3) Fernando Vargas vs. Raymond Joval

This is amazing. HBO is definitely on some heavy stuff. I had high hopes that with 12 Boxing After Dark shows next year, they would bring us some of the great battles between up and comers. I doubt they are cabable of scouting top fights, if this is their choice of the top 3 fights on HBO. This is hilarious.

the best fight on hbo this year has to be cotto vs torres it was 1 of the best fights all year PERIOD!

Well, you're going to have to wait for some of those battles, because although HBO did say BAD would be a monthly series, it will not BEGIN until spring, so March at the earliest and maybe not until April. I hope not...I also hope we get classic, vintage BAD stuff like Barrera/Jones and Ike/Tua...how about Miranda/Pavlik or A.Green/Ward. I hope they put on great cards in 06 to make up for this year...

who would even dare to think that any of those fights would have been "best of 05"?

i agree with tyrant in saying cotto/torres, wlad/peter, arce/hussein, and morales/pacman would be a better list.
