You've got to be kidding me? HBO's best 3 of 05 series?

    Includes:

    Gatti/Mayweather
    Trinidad/Wright
    Hopkins/Taylor I

    highlights?

Didn't HBO showcase MUCH MUCH better fights than those three? I know they want high profile names, but those weren't their "best fights".

    Morales/Pacman
    Arce/Hussein
    Wlad/Peter
    Cotto/Torres

I mean if it is THAT important to include a one sided fight, Mayweather/Gatti is fine since it was a stoppage, and Mayweather's preformance was more exciting that Winky over Tito...

but showcasing two one sided fights and one flinchfest decision will not help the sport...

Yeah, they are ******ed. Plus if they aired Morales/Pacman, it would help promote their 2nd fight. Dunno what their thinking. Hopkins/Taylor 1 over Pacman/Morales is an insult.

I think they intentionally held off Morales-Pacman because they will air it on 1/20/06 for free. Granted, the audience will likely be smaller for the Friday night showing but I would bet that is their logic

yea it's definitely sucks that Pac vs Morales aint there, but I think the reason being is that THEy WILL REPLAY IT ON january 20 anyways. I think.

yeah, i agree with the arguements here, they aren't neccessarily the best.. i haven't seen Gatti/Mayweather yet so i'll enjoy that i guess.

Those 3 fights all have 1 thing in common. Embarassing performances by at least 1 fighter, 2 in the case of Hopkins/Taylor 1.
