Khan had to get his ear drained in hospital after the fight and also had a brain scan, but was given a clean bill of health.

He insists he did not *underestimate Garcia and talk of facing Floyd Mayweather Jnr next did not make him take his eye off the ball. He said: “We had a long camp, but I never let the Mayweather talk get to me. I take it one fight at a time.

“In the fight I remember it was so easy catching him and for a split second I got complacent, lost concentration and he caught me.

“I had to avoid those big looping shots, but I couldn’t get away from them.”

Khan says he would love a rematch with the American, ideally in England.

“I’d love to have a *rematch,” he said. “There are a few fights available to him, but the big money would be a rematch.

“It would be brilliant to have that in the UK, *December time. I’ve been fighting away from home a long time. It’s time to go home again.”


OK well first bit. Roach will always have Manny as number 1.

Second bolded, Khan actually is right on the defense, but Roach told him to tie Danny up, not fight him toe to toe at most of it. LA is great for sparring though.

I gree that Danny has a crap defense and was easy to hit, which also invited Khan in.

It is time to have home fans. Your fans have been flying to the states for you, even Americans don't fly to other countries like we do.

Welcome home, and I hope that you do get a rematch, but box Danny. He is predictable with his hooks and has slow feet, I feel Khan who reduces output to 30 punches a round and jab/boxes has a huge chance.

Already sounds to me like he's ready to point the finger at roach for this loss and put him under the bus! This dude got way too much hype coming up and it made him diva-ish! He has a false sense of entitlement as well like calling for a possible rematch in England!!! Hey I understand he wants to go home and fight which is probably his best bet but to think you can get a champion that just beat you to travel overseas and put his titles on the line...nah thats just flat out ignorant! He needs a few fights at home and to stop putting blame on **** and just find what he thinks is wrong and try to fix it cause the more he talks the more he sounds like he's complaining! Sure roach may be a problem but don't say it cause you already have used every excuse in the world for other things and it makes you look like a spoiled brat which he can't fix now! Also the only one doing the Mayweather talk is him so when he says the Mayweather talk didnt distract me it sounds like other people are saying it to him which we all know he's the one with the dream of having that fight and further more the delusion that he can win it!

Yup absolutely NO WAY IN HELL khan would give garcia a rematch if he would have won. He's a spoiled arrogant brat. Bring on garcia/matthysse garcia/marquez garcia/judah... maybe even garcia/bradley. Garcia has alot of options.

all those options are good exept judah,that dude has no heart,he seems to just give up and sometimes doesn't even throw a lot of punches,he's old and just not an attractive fight ...bradley is ok i guess but only if he wins another fight,i would prefer jmm or mathysse,go for the big fights

real boxing fans knew this guy was a media hype job since he and the so called boxing experts started blowing his own horn. he's prince hameed to the 2nd power and yes he's just 25 years old and although roach is very overrated, no matter who trains him in the next 5 years, he's not going to learn enough defense to keep the real powers that be off his ass....he is who he is.

No matter where you go, you are what you are player...

The Other Problem for Khan is that in order to be a defensive fighter, you will get hit more often as well as have to use most of his energy in dodging and moving instead of the fast hands that made him a good fighter. Defensive Fighters biggest attribute is their Chins

Hey Khan, you don't bring in the kind of money that Manny does so forget about being his #1 fighter. Also, there isn't anything that Freddie Roach can do about having a glass jaw. Garcia proved again, just like Prescott did that he has a weak chin and will go down with a decent shot to the head.

jadon philly fighter have that kind of D they feel out there opponent even there punches(which is why he got hit also to get the timing spot on) joe frazier used to do that also. khan was hitting him but it wasnt anything that was going to hurt garcia. i also think khan started way to fast he didnt even feel danny out to see what he can get away with. which is what amatures do because of the lack of rounds they have to work in.

i dont think lucas will ice garcia and lucas didnt look so good last time out so i think it will be a good fight with a lot of back and forth action. but it is a pick'em fight.
