I bash Amir Khan mainly because his fans are delusional, but the vato does not need to retire. The Problem Amir Khan is having is that he wants his Trainer to only focus on Amir Khan and in this time, thats impossible. All the top trainers have multiple fighters in their gyms. Emanuel Steward has Wlad Klitschko and his boy Andy Lee. Robert Garcia has Nonito Donaire, Brandon Rios, Miguel Garcia, Marcos Maidana, Joan Guzman Kelly Pavlik and few other top prospects in his stable. Nacho Beristain has Juan Manuel Marquez, Juan Carlos Salgado, Vicente Escobedo and a bunch of other Mexicans. So basically, Khan will have to take the Tyson Fury route and look for a trainer with little name recognition. Might be a good move but i think he will stay with Roach. The Other Problem for Khan is that in order to be a defensive fighter, you will get hit more often as well as have to use most of his energy in dodging and moving instead of the fast hands that made him a good fighter. Defensive Fighters biggest attribute is their Chins and Khan does not have one. Khan is at a bigger crossroads than after the Prescott loss and this decision to try a new trainer and style could get him to fly again... or crash burn. Time will tell.

I think a rematch is probably the best thing for Khan..I mean he can't take a step back at this point,and moving up and taken on a creditable opponent at WW might be to dangerous at this point..I don't know if team Garcia well be up for it tho...

Yup absolutely NO WAY IN HELL khan would give garcia a rematch if he would have won. He's a spoiled arrogant brat. Bring on garcia/matthysse garcia/marquez garcia/judah... maybe even garcia/bradley. Garcia has alot of options.

Khan has to prove himself again, then he can have a rematch at 147 in a few years.
Right now he needs to think carefully about his next move. He should forget this fight and Garcia, especially his father, and move on, thats the smartest thing to do imo
