Khan was on his way to stopping Garcia, already cutting up both his eyes in just 2 rounds. Had he stayed on the outside and used his superior arm reach he could have won. Garcia was sloppy. Still a solid KO win for Garcia though.

He wasn't wild though he was throwing his shots with extremely bad intentions but he was being smart. Just look how poised he was during the last knock down.

The reason Gatti-Ward was Gatti-Ward is they both had great punch resistance and heart.

Khan does NOT have great punch resistance...just a lot of heart.

Many boxers fight with a lot of heart...most of them do not have the same punch resistance as Gatti and Ward.

Sure Khan did get back up, but he was hurt and never fully recovered.

The ref did not cut us short. Khan was not able to continue after the refs generous count.

Even Khan and Freddie agreed afterwards with the stoppage.

I think the ref just picked the wrong time to stop it... If he'd have stopped it after the first KD I'd be satisfied, but Khan was responsive, and the KD was more the result of Khan's legs being gone than a real brain-jarrer... I think he should have waited for 1 more knock-down, otherwise let Khan finish the round AT LEAST

I just cant understand how people think that Khan was on his way to stopping Garcia. Its just not true. Khan lost with the gameplan short and simple. Brawling and sitting on punches? Hes not bout that life.
