True. That was impressive he wasnt wasting to much and he was taking his time. He was also loading up haymakers and missing there. Putting himself in position to be countered as well and missing takes a toll. Had that proceed it may have turned into a battle. Im taking nothing away from Garcia at all. But im not ignorant to the fact of the could of in this fight. Hence the reason of the thread. We could have seen a FOTY or a Gatti Ward type fight by two determined fighters!

Khan got his chance after the first knockdown, and to his credit he hung in there the best he could and was still fighting back.
By the time the third KD came it was over. Garcia was throwing bombs and wasn't even bothering to defend himself. Even if Bayless let it go on Garcia would have ended it quickly and Khan would have been seriously injured.

Khans tremendous heart and Garcias wont die will ,was shaping up into a all out brawl. Many unknown hands were left not played out due to the ref cutting us short. I could see Garcia punching himself out if Khan could have weathered the storm...Then Garcia maybe weathering a storm or a Knock down or two...This fight ws shaping up into a battle. And Khan wasnt backing down. Hats off to both these guys. FOTY short lived!

This is the key word, Could. But khan couldnt weather the storm he was getting caught flush and didnt have any legs. It was khans greatest bambi on ice performance yet.
