I've been saying the same thing for a year or so. It seems like every fighter under Roach is regressing.

I think he is a good trainer, I think the problem is the Parkinsons is taking a toll. I'm sorry but you don't have a medical problem like that and it not affect your job, it's obvious it is. Even in the corner he stutters now more than give direction, it's a shame too. Also, you can't control a fighter in the ring if he decides to forget what you have an worked on and go for the KO no amount of training will fix that. People saying he is a bum are insane and people saying he's the best ever are just as ******ed, he's a good trainer.Comment

Nah, it was smart as hell. Manny brought Bradley onto him and monstered him in the exchanges. When Pacquiao had to chase Bradley in the last 3 rounds he looked lost, the tactics were right.
As for Khan, well he's won 2 World titles under Roach and 9 out of 10 fights.
He lost last night, it happens.Comment

Yea Roach should probably hang it up as a trainer, NBC likes him as a color guy so he should just focus on TV much less stressful for someone in his position.
He should certainly cut way back as a trainer, he works with way to many guys. For a young healthy man it would be almost impossible to really do much with any of them on an individual basis and for a guy with a terrible debilitating illness there is only so much he can do.
I will say this though maybe keeping busy helps Roach deal with his personal situation but really he should find another way to keep busy.
roach would be a great tv but i can barely understand what he says nowadays.Comment
