that's not how it works in professional sports, champ

you don't give the technically "better" team, fighter, whatever a rematch because the underdog won. how many times do they get a rematch until they prove they're the paper AND real champ?

do the NE Patriots get a rematch in 2008 and 2012 because they lost to the underdog team? get over yourself dude

Lucky? It was a picture perfect counter left hook. As Khan shot his right, Garcia tucked his chin and stooped down a little to throw the left hook. Skill, not luck mate. Khan's defense is crap.

It was a great knock out but come on even khans biggest haters have got to admit it was a fluke punch he closed his eyes and hoped for the best similar to Martinez on Williams i would like to see a rematch but not yet khan needs to build i don't think his head is in it anymore you look at the Judah fight and you see a calm disciplined khan at his best then you look at Peterson and Garcia and you see this idiot going macho on his opponent and getting out fought khan as much as he likes to think he can, can not go toe to toe it is not his style and he hasn't the chin or power to do so khans skills are something to sit back and admire when hes on it but his personality doesn't allow him to stick to it hes too ****y for his own good and can be wound up and thrown off a game plan far to easily you can have all the skills in the world but if you have not got the brains and concentration to stick to it your going no where, let it be mentioned i loved the counter punching from Garcia very sharp indeed every time khan was coming in he was getting tagged on his way out and Garcia stuck to it i just hope Garcia keeps his feet on the ground and don't let golden boy and the media take him off track because if he sticks to it and continues to improve we could be looking at the future of boxing right here i'd like to see him fight Bradley at 140 now that would be a fight and if it came off and Garcia counter punches like he did against khan he will beat Bradley hands down.

Yes they did. And they won those rematches to become the real Super Bowl champs. Or maybe that was just my imagination.

I'm a massive fan of Amir's, but I have to agree with Garcia snr here. Why would they give him a rematch? If amir beat Danny in 4 would he give him a rematch? I don't think so. Back to the drawing board again for Khan.

Lucky punch? You obviously don't know the game of boxing my friend. Danny countered him perfectly like any great boxer would do. That's when timing comes in to play. Give credit where credit is due, don't continue to hate. Danny couldn't have proven he's a better boxer in any better way. And if Kahn could've finished him of early rounds why didn't he?!? That ko must've made you delusional too lmao!! Go Philly my hometown!!
Umm, obviously you don't. He landed a lucky punch. His ****ing head was down to the floor. He didn't even see where the hell Kahn was and he threw the punch and hoped for something. He really didnt' connect flush. He just caught him on the neck. All he was doing was just swinging wild **** after he caught Kahn with that lucky punch.

Usually when an underdog beats a favorite, especially after a lucky punch, a rematch should be in order. But since Danny Garcia landed the lucky punch, he wouldnt want to take the chance of losing to Kahn and proving he wasn't the better fighter. This guy Kahn was the same guy they proclaimed would want to challenge Mayweather. Garcia definitely is not ready for Mayweather. But I really won't respect him if he doesnt give Kahn a rematch.

He's not going to beat any fighters that are better than Kahn anyway. The guy is a garbage fighter. He was throwing wild **** all day and he has no straight right hand. How the **** can you be a conventional with no straight right? His best bet is to fight Kahn again because if he fights someone who doesn't expose themselves like Kahn, he'll get knocked out and countered easily.

I've seen the same **** happen like with Hassim Rahman and Lewis. In the rematch Lewis beat the hell out of him so bad there wasn't a need for a rematch. I've never seen a more horrible knockout. The guy was laying in a pool of blood. He ran his mouth so much after his lucky punch. But at least he had the balls to do a rematch.

On the flipside Vernon Forrest proved that his win over Shane Mosely was no fluke. Usually those afraid of a rematch where a win wasn't in convincing fashion are guys who landed lucky shots and wants to cash out on a bigger fight.

Don't let these guys tell you otherwise but you are right for the most part, I wouldn't call Garcia's punch lucky though. Khan was leaving himself open all night.

But it was obvious, to me at least, that Khan was the better of the two fighters. He just got caught with a big punch. He was up 2-0.
