Khan wasn't exactly doing well before Roach.

Roach didn't ruin Khan, Khan just isn't that good for a world class fighter. He may have speed but there is much more to boxing than that.

It baffles me how people watched Khan and actually thought he was gonna be this future P4P fighter and star.

Its just sad seeing a talent go to waste, I been one to make fun of Khan but I feel for the kid, losing to someone with way less talent......Hopefully Khan ditches roach and finds someone who isnt holywood.
I totally agree with this post. I have been getting annoyed with Khan as of late, but didn't want him to go out like that. Hopefully he does hire someone like Manny Steward who can teach him to use his physical tools and mask his chin issues.

          The Roach style of fighting:

          -throw wild offensive flurries
-when done throwing wild offensive flurries, cover up with both hands, stay in one spot & let your opponent hit you
          -rinse & repeat

There is a cure for a weak chin, its called defense & boxing artistry. Use your jab, move your feet, counter punch, use your reach & height, strategy. Freddie Roach wouldnt know how to do that considering he was a face first brawler.

He did the same for Lennox who was also pretty chinny. Roach game plan doesnt change. That's why none of his fighters can adjust mid fight.

                TIME-OUT guys .......

You can't put this all on Roach, because it was and always will be Khan in the ring fighting. Khan got in his head that all of a sudden he's a world beater and can call KO's on demand. And that is how he fought ...... you can't blame Roach for that!!!!

Now, I'm the first to lay into Roach for the ***** he states and the constant contradictions .... But he cannot be blamed for how his fighters fight on fight-night.

Khan was out to prove a reality that didn't exist and got sparked in a major way. "Now's the time for me to take on PBF, because I have the style to beat him", "I'm gonna KO Garcia", this is what Khan has\had in his mind and it is far, very far from reality.

Khan lost because he's great in his own mind ..... and that cannot be blamed on Roach.

Roach is not a good trainer for Khan, never has been even though Roach did move him a long a bit but the things Khan needed were things Roach could never give him.

Still the blame falls on Khan mostly because, if he really looked in the mirror and evaluated himself he could have changed things even with Roach and if he couldn't he could have found a more suitable trainer. Instead Khan really fixed nothing in his game since that loss to Peterson, but it is hard to get better without first admitting there is an issue~

pacquiao has been able to get by with roach's tactics because pacquiao has a great chin, something khan does not have.

khan needs to hook up with emmanuel steward asap if he wants to be a serious boxer.

well it may not be too late. imo he needs to jet over to manny steward at least. what would be best for him is a real boxing coach like one of the mayweathers or even barry hunter or nacho. he has options. hes an idiot for thinking roach was rite for him.
