Sad news, one of boxings real gentleman and truly one of the toughest men in boxing history.

Won-lose-draw he fought the whose who of boxing for two decades and ALWAYS showed up in great shape & gave it his all.

    Never ducked a single fighter!

I liked Glen Johnson. I don't see how any one can not like him. I hope he does go in to the HOF, although I have no idea what the criteria to go in to the HOF is. It's all over the place. He should get in just because.

So good to see him retiring without a bunch of KO losses. Just one corner stoppage to Hopkins. No shame in that. 17 losses and only 1 stoppage, and a bunch of losses that should've been his.

        He will definitely be missed.

        Favorite fight: Dawson-Johnson I.

Gotta go back to see the 4 fights against Tarver and Woods to remember which one's were my favorite. His fight against Cloud was also very good.

If you think that's crazy, look at this:

          Mosley debut: February 19 1993
          Johnson debut: February 11 1993

Winky Wright killed it with debuting in 1990.

Yeah Glen looked pretty gased in their late...he can still beat decent-good opposition but I think he's done at the top level...and he doesn't have anything to prove. Toughest dude around

And made one online expert incorrect by beating the odds.

I like the way he fought and carried himself inside and outside the ring.

Was a very good run for him, even with all the tough loses.

I would like to see him train guys, he was really very crafty in ways you don't see very often anymore, I would like to see if he could pass that on to another generation of fighters.
