Either way, not many things that i read on this forum can p me off but when i see professional fighters get abuse for being overweight, the likes of Toney, Hatton, Prince Naseem etc after their careers or at the twighlight of their careers for Toney, that p's me off.

These are people who have trained and had to watch what they eat for the majority of their life. If anyone deserves to be overweight it's Professional Boxers.

This post is not at you though to be fair, just in general.

I dont know you nor do i give a flying **** about you, why would i want to figure it out?

All im saying is no one has the right to call a professional fighter a coward, especially over the internet.

Im damn sure you wouldn't dare say that to his face.

Makes sense, however I don't feel that ANY person should be overweight. Naseem is a legend in my books, he's a little overweight but for their standards anything less than shredded will look overweight. But like I said, I don't think anyone should have to deal with being overweight. Too many people are just uneducated on the matter though.

Agreed. Same is true for Manny no way he beats any version of Mayweather. That is all.

I train at a Boxing gym with a certain professional fighter who puts us all to shame. Absolutely aswell. The way he trains no one else in the gym can come close to him, including many a amateur fighter and a couple of other pro's.

And this is a guy who got brutally knocked out in his last fight against a domestic level fighter who was meant to be nothing special at all.

I train alongside him but half the time im training im in awe of how hard he trains, and this is just a domesctic level nobody in the pro ranks.

So i can't even begin to imagine how hard world level fighters must train.

So thats why im always a little picky when it comes to stuff like this because of how hard these top level fighters have to train. These men are absolute warriors. The stuff they put their bodies through, the hard work they have to put in, i dont blame them one single bit if after their careers they decide to eat whatever the **** they want given the struggles they went through during their careers.

Then we have the fat arses who sit on their arse for their whole life doing nothing, and theres many of them.

And people can have the nerve to abuse fighters for putting on a few pounds or shall i say stones after they retire.

Im pretty sure if they actually saw what they go through in training camps they'd quickly change their tune.

I've seen pros train (Jones jr in his prime for example) too. It's motivating to say the least. But like I said people can do what they want, I just don't believe anyone should be fat. Bad for their health in the long run.
