Arum stop you moved Manny up to fight Oscar by 2 divisions,you moved Oscar Larios up 2 divisions to fight Manny and Jmm jumped up to fight Manny,and didnt Bradley just move up to fight Manny? I agree it is a terrible fight but also nothing you haven't done before Mr Arum

Its no different than Manny fighting Margarito. Manny never fought anywhere near the weight. Check. Manny was a heavy favorite. Check. Except its worse because that fight was a catch weight fight for a vacant title.

Lopez is a junior welterweight, that's 140 for fans who seemingly don't know what weight classes are. he fought Ortiz at welterweight (147) but only weighed 144 on the night of the fight.

Lopez is going to struggle to make 154, he'll probably come into the fight below 154 and not gain any weight rehydrating. whereas Canelo will make the 154 weight limit and rehydrated to 170+.

so Lopez probably be outweight by more than 20lbs. which is dangerous for Lopez.

boxing has weight classes to protect the fighters. look at what Canelo did to flyweight Archie Solis. size matters but some fans seem totally ignorant when it comes to weight classes.

this fight is a joke and Arum is right (for once)
