Hell ya, and i know Mayweather will celebrate with an extra pudding tonight. Still cannot figure out how Andre Ward was not giving this award. Fans are weird that they give an award to a man who has had two fights in the last 2 years against Miguel Cotto who is beyond faded and Victora Ortiz. ***ing popularity contest.

Whatever you think of him outside the ring, you've gotta admit that Floyd Mayweather is the driving force behind boxing at the moment. Without him, the sport would be in dire straits right now, and in more ways than one. It's good that people are finally giving him the credit that he deserves, but it's also sad that it's taken this long. He's going to retire fairly soon, and the sport will not be half as entertaining without him.

Thing is, they've been saying that since the later days of Ali's career when topics like "Boxing is dead when Ali leaves", then comes along Sugar Ray Leonard. Every generation has their standouts / stars. Floyd and Pac are at the tailends of their careers, but there's still a slew of young guys that many of us may not think will be superstars, but time will tell as usual.

Great list even if it was probably drummed up by Leonard Ellerby. Its gotta be bittersweet though because no matter what he does people will always remember him more for beating women and ducking Manny Pacquiao

It's funny how Pac & Mayweather are getting these awards by fighting each other's leftovers.
