You are reaching a bit mate, however anyone that is bred close up to interbred families, British, American whatever, they will be inherently weaker then those who aren't.

The British Royalty ARE inbred and Germanic to boot. I won't deny it, it's the truth.
Culturally its a taboo in the UK, but not so much in other places......

If anyone is interested in genetics for the layman, get a book called "Tears of the Cheetah"

You're also reaching if you think that any one particular culture is comprised of people who are purely interbred. Interbreeding happens in all countries, all nationalities. It happens in Britain too, outside of the royal family. I remember reading a case of a brother and sister from London who had a child only a few months ago.

Look at how Indians and Pakistanis live outside of their home countries, i.e the UK. How many premier league football players are from Pakistan? How many rugby players? How many olympic field and track athletes? They have Pakistani genes and British culture and opportunity, yet the numbers are still fairly low I would imagine.

Pakistan are a great cricket and hockey country. But the rest of the world aren't in the stone ages behind them in those sports.

I know what you are getting at and I can somewhat agree with it, but genetics are a thing that have fascinated me for a long time. Some races are more gifted then others in certain departments, it's just that simple, it really is in general terms.
I totally disagree with you. Being a top athlete is not purely on genetics its hard work, dedication and to push yourself or someone. Majority of the people who migrated to these countries where just pure workaholics all they cared about was earning money and feeding their families here and back home they didn’t have the time to dedicated to sport, and they didn’t push their kids (who were the first generation to be born here).

If you studied about ancient warrior tribes you would know that most of the respected ones come from them countries, such as Gurkhas(Nepal) Mongols(Mongolia) Ghakkars(which I am-Persian/Indo) and so much more.

Now with all due respect name me some ancient warrior clans from Purto Rico? You talk about genetics!

Garcia may have been generalizing but it was funny as **** and one of the reasons i'm excited for this fight.

Indians and Pakistanis etc are unfortunately not the best athletes the world produces in general terms. it's just a fact, like only 1 white man ever running the 100M under 10 seconds. Some races are better at certain things over others.
Indians & Pakistanis may once have been the best athletes and the most genetically gifted and ruled at combat sports, but they don't now I'm afraid.
How many white men on the current US Olympic basketball team?

I never said they didn't, the point I was trying to get across is some do it more then others...Some places it's more accepted then others and some stopped doing it years ago, whilst others still encourage it today.

Did you ever get that list of championship boxers from the last 50 years?

Totally agree, genetics, "hard work & dedication" etc all play a massive part. It's all the ingredients mixed together with some luck that you create and the rest takes care of itself.
So what about the families that have been here for over 100 years? They can't hide behind the "hard working immigrant" status. They have 7 - 10 generations born in the UK who are more British then some of the Brits who can be traced from here even longer then 100 years.

There is no point talking about the ancient romans, aztecs, mongols etc as we might as well then bring in the Toba catastrophe and make this really complicated. Im not debating that those folks were superior back in the day, but this is today.

Im going to bail out of this discussion. You know my opinion. i've put it across in the best way I can typing. I can defend it and debate it all day long. Im not saying it's right, but its my opinion and if it was over a beer I could chat for hours about it...but as its a boxing forum I'm going to probably leave this thread alone and get back into some boxing discussion.

Enjoyed the discussion with you all

List me all the championship fighters from Pakistan over the last 50 years if you can (or that have 2 Pakistani parents), I wouldn't mind seeing just how many their are.
Khan, Jawaid Khaliq, and Adnan Amer if u count Prizefighter and some domestic titles. I think that's it at the pro level at least. Funny thing is they still have more than Chinese and Indians in the pro ranks.
