[QUOTE=-Kev-;12327702]Arce is the type of fighter Donaire should have fought about 2 years ago.QUOTE]Not correct. 2 years ago Arce was just coming off a loss that indicated he was at the end. Since then, Arce rededicated himself, re-emerged and has gone unbeaten in his last 9 fights. He is a very decent challenge.

Donaire has been dissapointed in himself lately by not being able to finish a guy. Now Arce is a warrior but his come foreward style is made for Donaire to get the ko. Thats why Donaire wants em. He wants to look good.

Arce is the easiest fight of the names nonito mentioned. He also made it seem like Nikosha(sp) was his choice on TV, then says it was ARce all along. People just want Nonito to either A) fight the best fighter or b) don't lie about trying to make a fight with a tougher opponent when your plan all along is to fight the tr fighter that is easiest and brings the most money.

He was practically head hunting Mathebula like a lesser skilled brawler and forgot the fact that majority of his KO's come off counterpunching.
he has looked like that for his last 2 fights to me all it really seems like he is looking for is that left hook

yea but during those 9 wins besides the vasquez win it has been nothing to impressive and even with the 9 fight win streak no one would say that arce is better now than he was a couple years ago oh and lets no forget that arce just quit in his last fight

Very decent challenge? Do you not see the problem with that?

30 years old, #4 P4P[I don't know how], Super Bantamweight WBO, IBF champion, taking on a very decent challenge?

Let's compare his resume/accomplishments with other boxers at 30 years old.

Mayweather[30]: Corrales, Castillo, De La Hoya, Hatton, Hernandez, Judah, Chavez, Corley, Gatti, etc. Titles in 5 weight classes, Champion in 3 weight classes.

Pacquiao[30]: Morales 3x, Barrera 2x, Marquez, De La Hoya, Hatton, Cotto. Titles in 7 weight classes, Champion in 4 weight classes.

Dawson(30): Hopkins, Adamek, Johnson 2x, Tarver 2x, Diaconu, Harding. 175 Ring Champion.

Ward(Still 28): Kessler, Froch, Bika, Abraham, Miranda, Green. Ring Champion at 168, Super 6 Tournament winner.

I gave 4 top 10 P4P fighters, when they were 30. Now let's see Donaire's wins at 29[going to be 30 this year].

Donaire: Darchinyan, Montiel, Mathebula, H. Marquez, Vazquez, Sydorenko. Titles in 3 weight classes. No Ring/Lineal titles.

Not very impressive, add a soon to be Arce there to the mediocre list. And BTW I only added those mediocre wins against Marquez, Vazquez, and Sydorenko cause I felt bad for him. I personally only see Darchinyan, Montiel and Mathebula as his best wins.

the thing is, people are still being fooled.

DONAIRE WILL NOT FIGHT RIGO OR EVEN THE JAPANESE.

it was all a lie to deflect the heat from his actions............

whats the need for a arce fight? arce quit in his very last fight? why don't he just fight the japanese guy & skip arce all together.............

                      answer:

because what comes out of donaires mouth are all lies.

if you still believe anything that donaire says you must be 80% brain dead............
